Networking
Convergence, also known as multi-service networking, refers to the
integration of data, voice, and video solutions onto a single (IP-based)
network. The technologies and tools for companies to converge their networks
exist now as evidenced by a recent META Group study that found that 26 percent
of Global 2000 enterprises are already in the process of migrating to a
converged network.
Moving to a converged network can substantially reduce an organization's
total cost of ownership for its network, and reduce the ongoing costs required
to maintain and upgrade the network. And by simplifying the administration of
the network, an organization's IT staff can focus more on strategic initiatives
that can generate demonstrable business benefits. While the hard cost savings
are enough to justify migrating to a converged network, the less easily
quantifiable ?soft? benefits provide the most compelling argument for why an
organization should begin migrating to a converged network.
You should seriously consider to migrate to the convergent network,
especially when you are:
- Building a new office or moving to a new location
- End of lease for PBX or support contract
- Necessary upgrades for data network
- Lack of expansion capacity of current voice network
- We are your outsource consultants to add, modify and improve your network with traditional wire/wireless or newest technologies in using
Powerline, satellite and other means to install the new network for you.
